China's national industry standards for water purifiers were promulgated in 2013. Among them are ``Special Requirements for Safety of Ultraviolet Radiation Water Treatment Appliances for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances'', ``Special Requirements for Safety of Hot and Cold Water Dispensers for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances'', "Ultraviolet Sterilizers for Water Purifiers and Similar Purposes", "Pressure Tanks for Household and Similar Reverse Osmosis Water Purifiers, Nanofiltration Water Purifiers" Four Water Purifiers National Water Purifier Home/Water Purifier Industry Standard Drafting Working Conference It was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province on May 17-19, 2013. Among these four standards, the first two are national standards for water purifiers, which are mandatory safety standards; the last two are industry standards, which are recommended product standards. In order to ensure the sanitary safety of drinking water (hereinafter referred to as drinking water) and protect human health, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases" and the "Regulations on Urban Water Supply", the sanitary supervision and management measures for drinking water stipulate: Units and individuals involved in the sanitation and safety of drinking water must apply to the government's health administrative department for product sanitation approval documents in accordance with regulations, and can only produce and sell them after obtaining the approval documents. No unit or individual may produce, sell, or use the products of the preceding paragraph without approval documents. All imported products that involve the sanitation and safety of drinking water must be approved by the Ministry of Health before being imported and sold. The specific management measures shall be separately formulated by the Ministry of Health.
